My Christmas

I had a nice Christmas.
My kids with their families were by me. We had eaten a lot.
We had seafood, ham, mashed potato casserole and
rutabaga casserole.
Father Christmas had not visited by us but there was nice presents under the christmas tree.

How are you all?

I have decidet do a little more for my english studying.
Instead of knitting I intend to read books. I went to library and lend a book in english.
It is a book from Charles Bukowski, The most beautiful woman in town.
There are short stories.

I have red it a bit. So far as I understud, I noticed that this book is not ment for old honest ladies.
This book talks straight out about different sides of livings.
On the other hand it should be good to extend own view of human lives.

Perhaps this is enough  for me. I shall go to the library and lent an other book.

Advent

Good advent to all.

I was in the church and have listen to Hoosianna.
In my childhoot it was very important to go to church in the first advent and listen to Hoosianna. Our new vicar has brought a lot of musik to service.
Quite new was laudy applaud after musikprogram.
Ealier it was not allowed in the church.

Kerttu asked me if I had made this dekoration myself.
No, I have not. It is christmaspresent from our germany frends.
This is very old and is not more in good condition.
Birds have eaten its seems.
One year I must take it off becauce of birds.

Smile

Today it is real  winter weather. Early morning it was 10 degrees below zero.

Now at ten o’clock sun is shining, and it is very bright and beautiful day.

Nowadays we have to listen to just bad news. Smile can't remove the nasty things, but I wish it can help you to stay hopeful that tomorrow will be better.

I love music. I’m not so good to sing, but I really like to sing every kind of music. It is a good way to find new meanings for English  words by learning English songs.

In our blog it has been very quiet last time. Maybe we all are so busy.
I have already begun to make Christmas presents. I am going to knit  for all my childen and for my six granchildren socks or gloves. I like knitting.

Although it is very late evening, I want to write some words to our blog. It is so funny to play Quizlet. Jussi and Marianne have add to it interesting word groups that I had to try and try again, so that I don't want to go to bed. But now I have to give up and I will start tomorrow again.

Also Coco was here. She is a little dog of my daughter. She is my "granddog".
Coco is very kind. She likes sit whole the time in my lap and lik my hand.

Autumn jobs.

Today i was swimming in the lake for the second time  this fall. I like so much. Last week we was in Viitasaari. We picked cranberries. In the air was so nice there. There was no one in the forest . Except the two of as. I heard that someone had seen there a bear. I know that there are many bears, but I `ve never seen them. We saw two swans only. They flew like they was lost someone. I think they say goodbye to birthplace and flew far to the south.
yesterday I made juice of berries and think those big birds. Here is so dark and cold and I want go to south too. If you like look at swan too, so you see that here.

I want to introduce myself.
I live in Valkeakoski, very close to the adult education institutes. I have two children a son and a daughter. I have two grandchildren they are 5 and 3 years old and they are both sons.
 I am already retired. So I have a good opportunity to study many subject in this house,adult education institutes. I do potteri from clay, I  weave fabric, study use of a computer and English.
 My great hobby is  photography, I can't it very well yet, but I try hard and maybe one day I'll success to take a good picture.
I like all  kind of trips.and I have travel a lot.
It is very nice to belong to this group, and make trips together, as the journey to Poland.
I hope that we can spend a nice time together, and we can learn more English and a new wrinkles//knacks with computer.
